Acura of Honlulu is relocating their Honolulu Sales and Service Department. This multi-phased redevelopment project moves their existing parts and service department into a completely renovated 21,000 sf facility closer to the airport in Phase One. Phase Two will be a ground up development of their new showroom and admission center. The first phase of the project is complete and occupied. The second phase of the project anticipates completion in Summer of 2016.

The Redmont Team managed the Design and Building in an incredibly short amount of time. Due to very limited time constraints by the Owner, this project was approached as a true Fast-Track process with construction beginning before the design was complete. Multiple design packages were issued to keep the construction process moving. The team managed multiple review agencies including the City of Honolulu and Acura Corporate review all while issuing design drawings in time for construction activities to stay on pace. The total project timeline was reduced from a typical period of 18 months to 6 months total and met the move-in date the Owner needed. The second phase of design and construction will take a more traditional design then build approach to ensure maximum costs controls.
